“My management style includes a weekly or bi-weekly meeting with each student after he/she has prepared and arranged all their data in Labguru. This helps me quickly see their established results and their plans for the weeks ahead, thereby preparing myself for the meeting. In the meeting we discuss the experimentation that was performed, troubleshoot if necessary and also discuss which additional experiments should be performed in order to accomplish a certain goal.

At the end of the meeting, both me and the student will have access to the plans and objectives that we’ve set out so nothing will get lost, not data and not ideas.”
